The Hummer House is not only about hummingbirds!
Numerous bird species are native to the area and are joined by migrant
birds as the seasons change. The abundance of timber along the South
Concho River provides an ideal location for birds to court and raise
their young. Painted Buntings flourish at the Hummer House. With their
beautiful colors, these native birds seem to belong in the tropics. Come
and enjoy life’s simple pleasures in a peaceful and stress free
environment. |
